Newark authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jessica Gonzalez, a 35-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this week.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., Gonzalez was last in contact with her family on December 13, 2024.
She was officially reported missing on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Gonzalez is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and approximately 150 pounds, with black curly hair.
When last seen, she was wearing black pants, a black sweater, and black Nike sneakers. Police noted that she is in good physical and mental health and is known to frequent the Park Avenue and North 7th Street area.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
