Police in Newark are on the search for a vehicle that was stolen in the city's West Ward early this morning.
An initial report of a carjacked vehicle that happened in the 70's block of South Munn Ave. had police arrive to the scene where a search began for a silver Nissan Altima bearing reported New Jersey license plate numbers "P24-DLY".
It is not immediately known if a weapon was shown or if it was taken at force.
An investigation is underway.
