A car reported stolen in Jersey City overnight has police searching for the vehicle and the suspect who took it.
According to police, thieves took a burgundy 1999 Jeep Cherokee from the 20's block of Grant Avenue at around 3 a.m.
The Jeep Cherokee has NJ license plate numbers "ZRR-36C" and was last seen on Ocean Avenue shortly after the theft authorities said.
Police are investigating.
