Two separate carjackings that happened in the city has police in Newark investigating.
Police are looking for a yellow 2003 Dodge Neon that was carjacked via of strong armed in the 800 block of Elizabeth Ave. early this morning.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number " YWT-72D" .
The second vehicle was reportedly carjacked at gunpoint in the 200 block of Sunset Ave. overnight.
The vehicle is a silver 4-door 2002 Volkswagon Passat with a reported NJ license plate number "F12-FSM".
There were no injuries reported in either carjacking.
