Police in Newark requests the public’s help in locating Raymond Durecout, III, 49, of Newark, and Collin Krum, 25, of Berwick, Pennsylvania, who are each being sought for separate incidents.
Police say Durecout is wanted for a theft that occurred on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at a check cashing business located at 348 Springfield Avenue.
According to police, after cashing a check for $2,900.00, a man put an envelope containing his cash down and it was stolen.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Durecout as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Police say Durecout is described as 5’9” tall and 200 lbs. with a light brown complexion. He has a bald head and brown eyes.
In a separate incident, police issued a warrant for the arrest of Krum after he violated a temporary restraining order against a victim in the West Ward. He is being sought on charges of contempt of court and harassment.
Police say Krum is described as 5’9” tall and 190 lbs. He has a fair complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes.
While police are actively searching for Raymond Durecout and Collin Krum regarding these incidents, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating them so they can be removed from Newark streets.
These investigations are ongoing.
