An overnight search for two suspects who were wanted for allegedly attempting to place a skimming device on a bank ATM has police investigating.
Verona Police responded to a bank located in the 400 block of Bloomfield Avenue at around 11 p.m. after they received reports of suspicious activities at that location.
Officers, with mutual assistance from Cedar Grove and the Essex County Sheriff's Department, canvased the area for two suspects -possibly women- who were reportedly tampering with the ATM inside the bank according to reports.
It is not immediately clear if authorities found the device.
There were no immediate reports of arrests made.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
