An early morning carjacking that happened in the city's downtown has police searching for the suspects responsible.
Police responded to the area of Mulberry Street at Green Street at around 6:45 a.m. after several reports of a carjacking in progress.
Officers arrived to the scene where they began to search for two black male suspects who were last seen wearing dark clothing when they took a black 2015 BMW.
The vehicle has a reported partial NJ license plate number "FZX".
The suspects were accompanied by a green Charger.
It is not immediately clear if the suspects were armed with a weapon at this time.
There were no reports of injuries.
