A carjacking at gunpoint has police searching for three suspects this evening in Newark.
Cops responded to the area of Sussex Ave. and 2nd Street a little after 9 p.m. where they located the victim who reported being robbed by three black males that were armed with a gun when they demanded the keys and wallet from the victim.
The suspects are described as the following: (Black male, light skin wearing all black), (Black male light skin, black hoodie, short dreads) (Black male, wearing a dark hoodie)
The carjacked vehicle is being reported as a 4-door silver Acura TL with a NJ license plate number "K83-BSB".
The vehicle was last seen fleeing onto Rt. 280
There were no physical injuries reported.
