Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect who stole a vehicle in the city's Ironbound section on Tuesday evening.
It happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Ferry and Union street where a male suspect stole the vehicle then sped away from the scene.
Police are reporting that the vehicle is a Dodge Caliber with reported PA license plates "KCK-3416".
It is not clear if a weapon was used during the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
