Police in Newark requests the public's help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a theft that occurred on Thursday, June 18th.
According to a statement released by police, the incident happened shortly before 12:15 p.m., where a woman's purse was stolen at Best Western Plus, located at 101 International Way.
Police say the victim's cash and personal property were taken.
According to police, detectives investigating this incident retrieved surveillance footage of the pictured suspect at the scene and seek the public's help in identifying him as part of this investigation.
The suspect is described as having a slim build, with a dark brown complexion and long hair worn in a bun style. He wore blue pants and a white shirt.
