Authoritites in Passaic County reported that at approximately 2:29 p.m. Thursday, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Chadwick Street and Braun Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene, but no victims were found.
Officials said that while en route to the scene, the Paterson Police Department members were advised that a 19-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
