Police Search for Suspect Wanted for Allegedly Breaking into Newark McDonalds

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in locating Blair Calaway, 40, of Philadelphia, PA, wanted for a McDonald’s burglary that occurred on Monday, April 3.

Police said at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to McDonald’s, located at 913 18th Avenue, on a burglary call.

According to police a male suspect had forced entry into the restaurant and stole cash from a charity box.

Detectives developed evidence that accused Blair Calaway as the suspect in the burglary police said.

Police issued a warrant for his arrest.

While police are actively searching for Calaway, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
