Police in Newark are on the search for vehicles sought in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday, January 18th.
According to police, shortly after 4 a.m., suspects robbed a man at the intersection of Sherman Avenue and Vanderpool Street while he sat in his vehicle.
Police say the depicted black vehicle pulled in front of the victim’s car and a white vehicle pulled behind his vehicle.
According to police, two suspects exited the white vehicle and robbed the victim at gunpoint before fleeing in their car.
Police described one suspect as 5’10” tall with a thin build who wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and has black dreadlocks.
Police say the suspect was also armed with a handgun.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying these suspects and removing them from city streets.
