Police in Carlstadt are on the search for a suspect wanted in stealing a car in a section of the borough on Thursday evening.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Washington Avenue.
Police said the suspect unlawfully entered a black Mercedes Benz C 300 and sped southbound.
According to police, the vehicle has an NJ license plate number "A41-LBB".
The incident is under investigation.
