Police in Paterson are looking for the suspect who is responsible for a a violent assault that happened early this morning in the city.
Cops responded to the 400 block of Broadway on reports of an injured person at around 1:45 a.m.
Units arriving to the scene located the victim who was bleeding from the head after being attacked by a male suspect who was armed with a gun.
The suspect struck the victim several time in the head with the weapon according to the victim.
EMS transported the victim to St. Josephs Hospital where they are expected to be ok.
The incident is being handled by the Paterson Police Department
