Newark Police officials reported that an arrest warrant has been issued for William Paschall, 46, of Newark, who stole a vehicle that he had scrapped and sold for parts.
According to police, officers responded to a report about a theft that occurred around 11:50 p.m. on July 23, in the 200 block of W. Runyon Street.
Police said Paschall, who is wanted for theft, criminal trespassing and fencing, was captured on surveillance video using a flatbed tow truck to take a 2007 Jeep Cherokee from the owner’s residence without permission.
According to police, he later had the vehicle sold for parts and scrapped.
Police officials said Paschall, a Black male, is 5’8” with brown eyes and has a bald head.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
