Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help locating **Mr. Darae Council, 31,** who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Sunday, September 10th.
According to a statement made by Police Director Anthony Ambrose, police responded to the 400-block of Central Avenue where they found an injured man following an assault stemming from a quarrel.
Director Ambrose said detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Darae Council as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault.
Mr. Council is 6’4” tall and weighs approximately 210 lbs. Director Ambrose said Council has brown eyes and black hair.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
