Newark Police officials are o the search for a suspect who they said is wanted for a burglary that occurred on Monday, August 21st.
According to authorities, at approximately 12:36 a.m., the suspect entered **The Spruce Parks Apartments, at 140 Spruce Street**, and broke into several private offices.
According to Newark Police, a witnessed allegedly observed the suspect fleeing the scene on foot.
Police described the suspect as a black male, 5’6” to 5’8” tall and weighing 145 lbs. to 155 lbs.
Authorities said the suspect wore a gray and black zippered hooded jacket, light ripped blue jeans, a blue t-shirt with dark lettering, and white and blue Jordan No. 4 sneakers.
The investigation is continuing.
