Reports of a senior man who went missing in the vicinity of the Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall had police and search crews on alert in Elizabeth.
Several police units were joined by firefighters as they searched the 600 block of Kapkowski Road which included areas around the mall and Applebees after receiving reports of a missing male before 10:45 p.m.
According to reports, the man was found a short time later uninjured and is now being evaluated for precautionary purposes at an undisclosed hospital.
Police are investigating.
