HOBOKEN NJ: Police are on the search for a man who reportedly attempted to sexually assault a woman inside an elevator at an apartment complex in the city.
According to reports, police were called to Monroe Gardens senior apartment tower located on the 200 block of Jackson Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. where they located a woman who reported to them that a Hispanic male (who was wearing a hoodie) began to attack her and attempted to perform sexual acts on her.
After a brief struggle with the woman, the suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle towards the light rail station according to reports.
Police canvassed the area for the suspect but there were no reports of arrests.
