Jersey City authorities are on the search for the driver of a vehicle who struck a pedestrian on a street in the city then sped off.
It happened at approximately 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Reed Street where officers arrived to find the victim suffering a non-life threatening leg injury according to police.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where they are expected to make a full recovery.
Police say the driver of the unidentified car remains at-large.
