There is an active search for an 8-year-old boy that reportedly walked out of a Newark School a short time ago.
Police are searching a park near the Mount Vernon School for the boy that school officials said left the school at around noon today.
The boy was last seen wearing a white shirt over navy blue pants according to school officials. He is 4'2" tall weighing about 75-80 pounds.
