Police in Bloomfield notified police departments in the area to be on the lookout for a vehicle stolen Monday night for a neighborhood in the city.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to the vicinity of 125 Bloomfield Avenue to investigate reports of a vehicle theft.
Upon arrival, officers began a search for a black 2014 Honda Accord taken by a thief at that location.
Police say the car has a reported NJ license plate number, "M71-JXW".
The car was last seen heading towards East Orange.
