A drive-by shooting Monday afternoon in Englewood has police hoping surveillance video images can help to identify the shooter - or the occupants inside the vehicle - that wounded one person. Police have an added urgency to solve this case, since a small child was seen inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
The surveillance video shows a light-colored car drive into the parking lot at the Westmoor Gardens housing complex sometime around 5:45 p.m. Monday, where a group of men were standing.
Several shots were fire at the group, injuring a 25-year-old city man in the foot.
Based on further investigations, at least four people were in the car, including a very small child.
The vehicle, possible a white Toyota Camry, was last seen heading west on Slocum Avenue.
Anyone with information was asked to call police at (201) 568-4875.
