Authorities in Paterson are investigating and armed carjacking that happened overnight in the city.
Police responded to the area of Main Street and Barclay Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. where cops began a search for a gold 1999 Toyota Camry with a reported NJ license plate number
"M57-DPK".
The vehicle was taken by a male suspect who sped away from the scene according to authorities.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
