Police officials in Newark seek the public’s help in locating Jalysia Carey, 16, of Newark, who was reported missing on December 22.
According to Newark Police, Jalysia, a frequent runaway, was last seen at N. 9th Street near 7th Avenue West.
Police said she wore a pink coat, black hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and pink Uggs. Jalysia is 4’9” tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jalysia Carey to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
