A sewer main that collapsed under a busy street in Newark's Ironbound section had police closed the road for repairs.
As of 9:30 a.m., police re-opened Walnut Street at Van Buren to traffic after utility crews repaired the damaged sewer main according to officials. Residents told RLS Media that the sewer collapsed at around 11 am Friday which had the road closed since.
