Newark Police officials request the public’s help identifying a male suspect in connection with a burglary that occurred on Monday, August 29.
According to police, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a call of a burglary at Smitty’s Mobile Exxon, 101 13th Avenue.
The suspect entered the business by shattering a garage window.
Police said that he then removed a cash box containing $300.00 and two vehicles, a black 2003 Mercedes Benz, which police have recovered, and a silver 2009 Honda Accord LX, which has not yet been recovered.
