Authorities in Newark are seeking the public’s help identifying suspects who are connected with a robbery that occurred on Thursday October 20th.
According to police, officers responded to an auto repair shop at 65 Goble Street on a robbery call at approximately 2:30 p.m. Two suspects allegedly entered the business, brandishing guns.
The suspects robbed two male victims inside the business of their cash and personal items.
Both suspects left the business walking in separate directions—one towards Avenue C and the other northbound on Goble Street—after the robbery.
The first suspect is described as approximately 6-foot, 3-inches tall, with dreadlocks, wearing a red hoodie jacket and blue jeans. The second suspect is approximately 5-foot, 7-inches tall and weighs about 150 lbs. He was wearing a gray hoodie jacket and blue jeans.
While police are actively searching for the suspects, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from our streets.
