Plainfield Police are looking for a 31-year-old Plainfield man wanted for the shooting of a Newark man Monday afternoon.
Rodjoun Caver, 31, of Plainfield, has been charged a with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, aggravated assault and certain persons not to have weapons.
Caver was charged with the above offenses after detective’s determined that he was the person who shot the unarmed Newark resident.
The victim was shot in the 300 Block of Liberty Street on July 13th, at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Bail was set by the Honorable Superior Court Judge Scott Moynihan in the amount of $800,000.00.
At this time police are seeking assistance in locating Mr. Caver.
