Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 4:30 a.m. on March 25, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Summer Street and Broadway in Paterson, on a report of a shooting.
According to police, upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located a potential crime scene and a 24-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police said that the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.
Based on the preliminary investigation it is believed the shooting took place in the area of Summer Street and Hamilton Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
