Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 5:45 p.m. on October 31, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 25th Street and 15th Avenue in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
According to county officials, upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 35-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
County officials said the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
