A theft of several North Face jackets from a sporting goods store in Paramus has police on the scene investigating.
Police Officers were called to the Dick's Sporting Goods store that's located in 200 block of NJ-17 for reports of a large proceeds theft according to reports.
Store employees told arriving police officers that shortly before 9:30 p.m., a black male suspect exit the establishment with several hundred dollars worth of jackets without paying for them.
The suspect entered a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus, which sped away and onto Rt. 17.
Paramus Police is investigating.
