Middlesex County authorities are searching for a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery inside a Woodbridge parking deck late Thanksgiving night.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the single-digit block of Main Street at approximately 10:05 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who reported being approached by a male suspect attempting to carry out a robbery.
During the altercation, one shot was fired, but no injuries were reported. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
Woodbridge police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the department as the investigation continues.
