Authorities in Paterson are investigating a stabbing incident that left a woman injured late Saturday night.
According to preliminary reports, police officers were dispatched to the 70's-block of Raymond Street after receiving reports of a possible violent incident.
When units arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering stab wounds to her face.
Emergency medical personnel rushed the victim to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
Officials have not announced any arrests in connection with the stabbing, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward as they work to determine the circumstances leading up to the attack.
