A stabbing incident that left a man injured in Newark has authorities investigating.
Police were called to the area of Avon Avenue and South 13th Street at around 8 pm after receiving reports of a person suffering a serious injury.
Arriving police officers and EMS found the victim suffering stab injuries at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital where his injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
The incident was a robbery where the suspect began to attack the victim with the knife reports said.
There were no reports of arrests.
