An overnight stabbing that left one person in Asbury Park has police investigating.
Police responded to an address in the 1100 block of Springwood Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. for a person stabbed according to preliminary reports.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering a stab injury at that location.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where their injuries were not immediately reported as life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
