Orange Police are on the search for a suspect who fired a weapon on a street in the city Tuesday afternoon.
According to police officials, residents in the area of Scotland Road and McChesney Street dialed 911 when they heard a loud popping noise in the community just after 3:52 p.m.
Police units arrived and began to canvass the area for a crime scene and victims according to authorities.
Units recovered one shell casing at the scene, but a further search indicated no victims.
Police say the suspect is a 6'2" tall black male with dark skin who wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
The suspect reportedly fired at a group of males in the area before fleeing the scene.
