Jersey City police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Sunday morning near the intersection of Van Wagenen Avenue and Sip Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 2:20 a.m. after a ShotSpotter device detected multiple gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, officers secured the location and recovered shell casings, initiating a crime scene investigation.
A thorough search of the vicinity revealed no victims, and the suspect remains at large.
Officials have not disclosed any potential motive for the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
