Police in Newark are investigating a car collision that ended in a road rage assault at a location in Newark Saturday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 4:12 a.m. in the vicinity of West Market and Norfolk.
Police say two vehicles collided, causing the drivers to engage in a heated verbal argument, then the pair began to attack each other.
One of the drivers required medical attention for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Newark Police will handle the investigation into the incident and no arrests were immediately reported.
