There is an active investigation a search for a suspect wanted for firing shots on a street in Paterson on Sunday morning.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 500 block of East 22nd Street just before 4 a.m. where officers arrived to find evidence that a shooting occurred but after a search for the area, there were no injured victims at that location.
Detectives canvassed the scene for possible suspects, but there were no arrests reported.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
