An overnight stabbing incident in Elizabeth has left one person injured, with police actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the event.
Authorities were called to the scene around 12:20 a.m. after reports emerged of an injured individual on the 500 block of Livingston Street.
Upon arrival, emergency units promptly requested EMS support for the victim, who had suffered a stab wound.
The injured person was immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment. However, details regarding the severity of their injuries remain unconfirmed at this time.
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the stabbing, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
Currently, no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident.
