Authorities are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred overnight in Paterson, with no reported injuries.
At approximately 2:50 a.m., police were alerted by a ShotSpotter activation near 71 Oak Street.
Responding officers found two shell casings at the scene but, after searching the area, did not locate any victims.
The suspect, who was reportedly wearing neon clothing, fled the scene and remains at large. The motive for the shooting is under active investigation.
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
