One person was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center suffering severe after being shot at a location in Brick Township.
According to police, the shooting happened in the vicinity of 187 Briar Mills Drive at approximately 11:40 p.m.
Police say units arrived at the scene after receiving reports of shots fired and found the 18-year-old male struck by bullets.
According to authorities, witnesses reported seeing a gold 4-door sedan speed away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
There were no arrests reported.
