There is an investigation underway into a crash with injuries reported in Newark overnight.
The single car accident happened just off the Route 280 ramp to First Street in Newark at around 1 a.m. when a vehicle somehow lost control and slammed into a pole at that location.
According to preliminary reports, two victims were transported to University Hospital suffering serious by stable condition.
It is not immediately clear what caused the crash.
New Jersey State Police and Newark Police Officers were on the scene investigating.
