An armed carjacking at gunpoint in Newark's West Ward has police in Newark investigating.
The incident was reported in the single digit block of Vailsburg Terrace at around 11:30 p.m. according to reports.
The victim told authorities that two black male suspects approached armed with a weapon and stole a silver 2002 GMC Yukon then sped away from the scene.
A license plate number for the vehicle was not immediately available.
There were no physical injuries reported.
