Police in Newark are investigating an attack that left one person suffering non-life threatening injuries at a location in the city's North Ward.
According to police, the incident happened in the single-digit block of Cutler Street, where police arrived to find the unidentified victim suffering a head injury at that location.
According to the victim, two suspects approached and began to attack for an unknown reason.
Police say the victim suffered a concussion but is expected to make a full recovery.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
