NEWARK NJ: Police are inside the West Side Park investigating a reported armed robbery of a cell phone that occurred at around 2:45 p.m..
Officers arriving to the scene noticed about two dozen juveniles running from the area after the reported knifepoint robbery reports said.
Cops were able to catch about five of the juveniles and have now detained for the investigation.
An active investigation is underway.
There are no injuries or arrests reported.
