Jersey City Police are investigating a road rage incident that was reported Monday evening.
According to preliminary reports, officers were called to the area of Palisade Avenue and Route 139 to investigate a dispute among drivers around 6:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, police were told by one of the drivers that a road rage incident ended with the driver of the other car brandishing a weapon then fleeing the scene.
Police alerted neighboring towns to be on the lookout for a Toyota Camry with a partial plate "KYH" that sped away after the dispute.
Authorities reported no physical injuries.
