There were no injuries reported in a gas station robbery that was reported in Jersey City early this morning.
Police responded to the Conoco Gas Station that located in the 700 block of Tonnelle Avenue after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress before
5 a.m.
Officers arriving at the scene began a search for a black male suspect who fled on foot after pointing a weapon at employees and taking cash according to reports.
The suspect was last observed wearing dark colored clothing and a mask.
Police are actively investigating.
